Getting the inactive active: Barriers to physical activity and potential policy solutions - Disparity & Autonomy
From the perspective of understanding how to implement the new Physical Activity & Health Framework there requires an understanding of best practice and how to share that across the local authorities:
There are 32 different local authorities all doing 32 different things and for me I think I would like to see us really share in that best practice and learning from each local authority because although there are differences, there's lots of similarities (RP2).

Post-legislative scrutiny of the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013: Phase 2 - Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014
The Act sets out integration planning principles which stipulate that services should be provided in a way which:
(i) is integrated from the point of view of service-users,
(ii) takes account of the particular needs of different service-users,
(iii) takes account of the particular needs of service-users in different parts of the area in which the service is being provided,
(iv) takes account of the particular characteristics and circumstances of different service-users,
(v) respects the rights of service-users,
(vi) takes account of the dignity of service-users,
(vii) takes account of the participation by service-users in the community in which service-users live,
(viii) protects and improves the safety of service-users,
