Does he demand, through motions lodged by his party, that we give almost £100 million extra to councils to ease their burden and help them to consider their council tax levels, or was he inspiring stories that any extra money for local government would be a bribe?
Clearly, funding is an important issue, but, of course, the other initiatives to which Richard Baker referred are also highly relevant. The extra money will go not only to social rented accommodation, but into the new shared equity schemes.
