In the June meeting of the SEN forum we will consider how we can improve inter-agency working.The issue of specialist qualifications for teachers is being examined as part of the review of the "Schools (Scotland) Code". It is likely to be taken up by the forum—not in the June meeting, but in the following meeting in the autumn, once the responses to the consultation on the code have come in.

Whether parliamentary committees should be involved in scrutinising some of those schemes and codes of conduct is a separate matter, but they should not be SSIs, which was Bill Butler's point.
