We are passing on money as soon as we are able to do so and are taking account of any circumstances in which the approach in Scotland differs from the approach in the UK, and we will go on doing so.
One of those relates to clause 26, which would further limit the ability of the courts to take into account previous judgments, and that would affect workers in those circumstances.
The other factor that needs to be taken into account is that the code is very flexible on how the criteria are set, how the assessment is done and how the post is advertised.
Margaret Burgess put her significant professional experience to good effect in laying the groundwork for the new social security powers that are being devolved to Parliament.
The order having been laid, there is no formal recognition by the Parliament that that laying should not have any future effect—in effect that the laying should be undone because the order could not properly be laid.

That money does no one any good while it is sitting in the Scottish Government’s bank accounts, and we have consistently called for it to be paid out and for an accounting, so I welcome the breakdown that we have heard today.
