To ask the Scottish Government what provision it is making to cover losses incurred by Glasgow Prestwick Airport in the last financial year. Final accounts for financial year 2020-21 are in draft format and will be laid in Parliament when approved.
The order having been laid, there is no formal recognition by the Parliament that that laying should not have any future effect—in effect that the laying should be undone because the order could not properly be laid.
Additionally, the committee may wish to note that only two sitting days elapsed between the laying of the regulations and their coming into force.Do members have any comments?
