If you sought further clarification, we would consider the matter, but schedule 2 to the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 and the code of practice provide what we believe is clear information about making and appealing placing requests, about co-ordinated support plans and about home and host authority responsibilities in relation to those.Education authorities will have to apply the provisions of schedule 2 and the guidance in the code of practice when they consider individual cases.
