I do not know whether Sarah Boyack has had time to read the full pre-budget report documents. If she reads them, she will see that "Departments are also working to achieve efficiencies on other Government assets",and that "a study of the Forestry Commission's portfolio in England is being launched to examine options for delivery of public value from the estate in the long term".Before there is scaremongering from the Labour Party on this issue, Sarah Boyack should address not only the £500 million of cuts and the slashing of the fuel poverty programme but what the pre-budget report has to say about English forestry.
