For the avoidance of doubt, I say that those evidential requirements can include direct evidence; eye-witness accounts from both police and civilians; admissions at interview; and circumstantial evidence, from which inferences can be drawn, surrounding the facts and circumstances—in other words the location of the prostitution zone, time of day and behaviours such as continually driving around an area.I hope that that gives an assurance that the legislation was appropriate in the first place and is being enforced robustly by prosecutors.
