Some interesting points have been made about future proofing, which takes me back to evidence that we heard in May from the Existing Homes Alliance Scotland.
That will rest on a host of policies that we have not yet seen, which may change under the new relationship between the Scottish National Party and the Greens.
It is important that the Government engages with the issue and with the Parliament, particularly as there are strong industry lobby groups that are calling for changes that may or may not be in the interests of the environment.
