Scottish Social Services Council (Consultation on Codes of Practice) Order 2001 (SSI 2001/424) The order does not contain the definition of the phrase "SQA qualification" that was established by the Education (Scotland) Act 1996.
The letter is also clear about the code of practice. The Executive says that it amended the draft bill to include an indication of what the code would cover.
It is important to point out that it is a poor argument that says that, because some codes of practice in the 1991 act are not subject to scrutiny, nothing comparable ever should be.
