Scottish Tourism and COVID-19 - Industry sentiment on impact

Key findings from an initial March 2020 survey at the outset of the pandemic included: 99% of businesses responding had experienced cancellations/decline in bookings/fewer visitors. 58% of respondents (with employees) stated they have had to reduce staff numbers to 30 March with a likelihood of further losses in the future.
