I have read all the petitions, which raise serious issues, and I hope that the committee can pick up and develop some of them. At our away day, we will perhaps need to discuss how we deal with our inquiry work load and the burdens that the Executive puts on us, which we must deal with at the same time as we try to do justice to petitioners.
