The Bill amends schedules 2 (carers assistance), 5 (disability assistance), 7 (employment injury assistance) and 9 (housing assistance) of the 2018 Act to allow the Scottish Ministers to set in regulations that the value of assistance paid under those schedules may be £0, in circumstances where the individual is resident and present in a particular place, or that the individual is in receipt of another type of assistance (under the 2018 Act or any other) during the period of the individual’s entitlement, or in such other circumstances as may be set out in the regulations.
