To ask the Scottish Executive what checks are in place to ensure that all appointments to non-departmental public bodies that fall outwith the Commissioner for Public Appointment's remit are made in accordance with the commissioner's code of practice and guidance. Appointments to all non-departmental public bodies for which Scottish ministers have responsibility fall within the remit of the Commissioner for Public Appointments and thus appointments to all of these bodies are made in accordance with her code of practice.
