The need to financially support landlords that find themselves in this situation was also raised by Lettings Edinburgh: 10 “...if the government wants to protect tenants, and expect landlords to suffer and tolerate the stress of getting no income for months with little hope of ever recouping this whilst having the banks on their banks, then the government needs to reimburse the landlord for this legislation.
