To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to proceed with the upgrade of the Planting End to Drumflower section of the A75 as stated in the letter of 20 December 2001 to me from the Deputy Minister for Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning, given that it was not included in its leaflet Delivering Transport Improvements - West of Scotland 1. The Executive plans to develop the A75 Planting End to Drumflower as a substitute for the suspended Chapelton to Bush o' Bield scheme, dependent upon the outcome of the second stage Port Approach Study.
