Work with Experience Panel members with lived experience of disability benefits began in June 2017 with an Experience-Panel wide research programme. Following this a disability benefit specific session started in November 2017 and is ongoing.

To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking to assist local authorities to ensure that people who require wheelchair accessible social housing are not on waiting lists for a long time.
Scottish Enterprise has also provided the following financial assistance to Doosan Babcock for projects that support the development of the Renfrew site since 2015: £260k in support of an Open Innovation project with the R & D team (Programme initiated: October 2015, the project is ongoing)

The Scottish Prison Service have a range of programmes available to support the rehabilitation of individuals in custody and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.
Co-operative businesses, like any other business, can access business advice and support from Business Gateway, including information on sourcing existing financial assistance that may be available to support new and growing businesses.

In addition to this, Small Business Employment Support assists companies with less than 50 employees increase recruitment by providing an extra £1,000 subsidy to support the particular challenges in meeting the cost of recruiting additional staff.
