As a matter of good practice, Caledonian MacBrayne Limited has adopted the Principles of Good Governance and Code of Best Practice (the Combined Code), as published by the Committee for Corporate Governance in June 1998.

I do not know what you think of the reply that we got, but there may be some cause for concern still. I agree. It is clear that the code of practice is legislative in character.
At a later date, we will consider various changes to the code of conduct. Members should have a copy of some draft standing orders and a covering note for each one that sets out the background to the changes.
Can you confirm who is responsible for determining whether the ministerial code has been breached and whether the minister has been asked to make a statement to the Parliament?
Will he give an undertaking that the access code will give out the clear message that visitors to the countryside are largely responsible for their own safety?
