A parenting ordershould (or can) only be considered wherea parent has been offered help and support on a voluntary basis and has refusedto engage with this support. The Executive has offered funds to local authoritiesto establish such support services and many offers of such help have been takenup.No parenting orders have yetbeen applied for or granted.
