That has enabled me to look into the matter and to refer to and read last week's Official Report.Although it is not for me to adjudicate on the process that was followed, I confirm that, as stated by the convener last week, the Standards and Public Appointments Committee met its obligations under the code of conduct in full.I also confirm that in such matters, a member is entitled under the code to be asked to appear in front of the committee.

My view is that we should publish any new determinations as an annex to the code of conduct, which would let people know where to find them easily.
