To ask the Scottish Executive when it will announce its conclusion on the review of the school provisions of the Schools (Scotland) Code. The Schools (Scotland) Code 1956 has been a feature of Scottish Education for over 40 years.

The Code of Practice on Access to Scottish Executive Information is based closely on the UK Government's Code of Practice on Access to Government Information.
Section 155(3) will amend the Antisocial Behaviour etc (Scotland) Act 2004 to provide for a code of practice for landlords. The legal advice is that, as the code will not be legislative, parliamentary scrutiny is unnecessary.
