Judicial Factors (Scotland) Bill - Duties of the judicial factor (sections 14-17)

These include: a duty to gather in the assets of the estate and make an inventory of them (section 14) a new duty to prepare a management plan relating to the estate, which must be approved by the Accountant of Court (section 15) a duty to regularly report to the Accountant of Court, including by submitting accounts to that official at least once every two years (but not less than once a year, unless exceptional circumstances apply) (section 16) a duty to consider whether it would be appropriate to invest the funds which form part of the estate and a duty then to make any such appropriate investments (section 17).
