On 4 June, I am due to meet stakeholders who represent the muirburn code working group and are concerned about the content of, and conditions in, the code and the associated licensing framework.
In one case the Committee found that there had been a breach of the Code and wrote to the Co-Conveners of the Group to remind them of the obligation to comply with the requirements of the Code of Conduct.

As noted above, regulation 3(6)(a) requires compliance with the ChIRP Code of Practice, which is not provided for in the Age of Criminal Responsibility (Scotland) Act 2019.
