Jeremy Balfour MSP sought to establish an accreditation scheme to enable trained non-medical practitioners to supervise non-surgical procedures, in recognition of the levels of highly skilled but unregistered practitioners operating with advanced qualifications.
New Part 4C: Gull numbers (section 33D)
An amendment by Douglas Ross MSP was agreed (by division), inserting new Part 4C and section 33D into the Bill, which requires NatureScot (legally called Scottish Natural Heritage) to conduct an annual survey on the number of gulls in Scotland and publish a report on the results.
Section 2A
Amendment 49 in the name of Miles Briggs MSP introduces new section 2A. This introduces a requirement for Ministers to carry out a review of the credit-based funding model used by the SFC in funding colleges and other providers of fundable further education.
