Another important conclusion that the Scottish Law Commission reached in 1985 was that the abolition of warrant sales would tempt debtors to convert funds into moveable goods. I find that assertion naive and offensive to my client base.

We will examine service provision, monitoring, costing and make recommendations for legislation and changes in policy.We held a number of meetings to develop a work plan. We heard from groups that had information to give us on the incidence of domestic violence in the community and the way different groups are dealing with prevention and protection.
