The partnership is charged with devising a national strategy, and the issue of funding is implicit in that. However, it is worth pointing out that last year funding amounting to almost £370,000.
There is no monitoring of the percentage of curriculum time spent by schools in the use of information technology. The flexibility of the curriculum allows for schools to decide whether and how to use information technology across the broad range of subjects offered.
I would also like to give some details on the task force that has been set up to deal with the situation and announce some additional funding to support the action that the task force will take.
