Affordable Housing (PE732) The next petition is PE732, from Norman Lawrie, on behalf of the royal burgh of Haddington and district community council, on guidelines to promote the development of affordable housing. The petition calls on the Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to review the current guidelines on new housing developments to ensure that a larger proportion is allocated to affordable housing.At its meeting on 26 May 2004, the committee agreed to seek comments from the Executive.
