We want the legislation to ensure that, even if a victim has had issues with antisocial behaviour orders or with their landlord, they are entitled to that new tenancy, irrespective of the landlord’s views about that previous behaviour.
That is one of the other provisions that would allow landlords to tackle antisocial behaviour. The intention is that it would help to reduce antisocial behaviour.
