Stage 1 report on the Aggregates Tax and Devolved Taxes Administration (Scotland) Bill - Compliance and penalties
The Committee was concerned to hear about the potentially significant levels of non-compliance with the existing aggregates tax regime. We welcome Revenue Scotland’s intended approach to compliance and stress the importance of effective data collection and enforcement to ensure a level-playing field for the industry and contribute to the Bill’s overall aims.
