Equalities and gender
Amendments 12 and 44, lodged by Jackie Baillie MSP, were both disagreed to. She stated that she was willing to work with the Cabinet Secretary to find consensus on these areas for Stage 3.

We invited the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, Shona Robison MSP, Professor Sir Harry Burns, Professor of Global Public Health, University of Strathclyde and Gerald McLaughlin, Chief Executive of NHS Health Scotland to attend an evidence session on 1 May 2018.
SPPA Committee – consideration of complaints
The Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee has a role in considering complaints about MSPs’ conduct, as well as recommending whether or not the Parliament should impose sanctions on MSPs.
We followed this up by taking evidence from representatives of different equality groups. John Finnie MSP also commissioned a full Equality Impact Assessment.
Introduction
The Restricted Roads (20 mph Speed Limit) (Scotland) Bill is a Member's Bill, introduced by Mark Ruskell MSP on 21 September 2018. The Bill seeks to reduce the default speed limit on restricted roads, generally residential streets and minor roads in urban areas, from 30mph to 20mph.
The Bill was passed on 19 January 2016 and became an Act on 23 February 2016.
