When Sarah Boyack announced the conclusions of the Strategic Roads Review, she indicated that the M74 Northern Extension would be promoted by the City of Glasgow and South Lanarkshire Councils. It is for these Councils to develop proposals for the procurement and funding of the scheme.

That was the first direct contact that the fund manager received on the detailed alignment that is in the bill.Following that correspondence, we entered discussions with TIE.
Tackling antisocial behaviour is a priority for the Executive, so it must give priority to it in money. There are various funds available, but the duty of the national Government in respect of resources should also be mentioned.
