Therefore, my question is this: if there was an ethical requirement to put the friendship on the ministerial record for the Covid inquiry in March 2024, why was there no requirement to do so in 2019 and 2023?
In essence, as you said at the start of your observations, Mr Kerr, the funding is committed only until March 2026. If it is removed, it would have significant consequences of the nature that I described in my response to the first question.
