Examples of panel outputs informing formal evidence sessions
Throughout the formal evidence sessions Committee members made references to the lived experience panels. There were examples of members asking formal witnesses to directly respond to proposals or claims that the panels had made.

The Committee's Stage 1 report references the input of people with lived experience of drug/alcohol addiction as an additional form of evidence.
Tess White's amendment sought to clarify that 'ordinarily resident' means that a person has been living, or intends to live, in Scotland for a minimum period of one year.
This would mean that candidates would have three options to choose from in terms of what appeared on the ballot paper:
their home address
the council area in which they live
the ward and council area in which they live.
