That the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee recommends that the Justice of the Peace Court Fees (Scotland) Order 2024 (2024/239) be annulled.
Motion moved. That the COVID-19 Recovery Committee recommends that the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Requirements) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021 (SSI 2021/299) be approved.
The Committee also heard concerns about references to “mental disorder” in the Bill, fearing it could lead to automatic exclusion of individuals with such conditions, potentially breaching UN disability rights.
