Col. 20 Dr Hardman reported that the Law Society of Scotland’s Banking, Company & Insolvency Law, and Consumer Law sub-committees were of the view that the Bill already includes a number of protections for consumers, and therefore was of the opinion that consumers should be included in the Bill.
