The Committee notes that it is Construction Scotland's intention to re-establish its online presence by July 2019 and believes that this should be considered a priority.

We can still get someone to type into an online journal that they give explicit consent for us to act on their behalf but, as I said, we have clients who cannot use technology so they do not have online journals.
We are looking at how we can make more of that information available. Publications are going up online, and the children’s advocacy guidance is all online.
The universal credit system—which I know is reserved—is now being rolled out in Musselburgh as a full online service. There will be increasing pressure on public authorities to try to restrain their costs, and they will see moving services online as a way of doing that.
