As a bit of context around the point that the minister made about the impact of Covid on resources, I head up the— Sorry—we know that Covid has been difficult, but our report came out pre-Covid. Could you answer the specific question, please?
Paragraph 1 of part 1 of the schedule makes important consequential amendments to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978. That is to ensure that the pre-existing NHS Scotland legislation and the bill will dovetail and interoperate properly.
We heard that there was a lack of information forthcoming from the UK Government about levels of preparedness and planning, and that there were no pre-briefs or debriefs in relation to the various discussions in Brussels.
The other thing is that, as we mention in our submission, we are recruiting a partner to re-energise the pre-first feature part of our talent development pipeline.
