Deposit and Return Scheme In April 2023, the then Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity wrote to the Committee on the announcement the implementation date for Scotland's deposit return scheme was to be delayed from August 2023 to March 2024. On 9 June it was announced this date would be postponed further to October 2025.
