Two lines in the budget are of interest. There is an increase in the developmentfunding budget line. Although if we strip out inflation that increase is not huge, it will presumably result in most council areas getting slightly more developmentfunding.
The airport company received European funding and council funding and, as well as providing an initial £400,000, made up the entire shortfall, which more than doubled its contribution.
