The new arrangements for integrated inspection by the Commission for the Regulation of Care and Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education will be an important part of this.The Executive has been working to improve the quality of all parts of the early years workforce, and recently allocated an additional £7.2 million for the financial years 2002-04, to support workforce expansion and development in the sector.
