The Child Disability Allowance is expected to add £217 million to the cost of providing social security in 2020-21, rising to £312 million in 2024-25, while the Scottish Child Payment is forecast to increase social security costs by £21 million in 2020-21, rising to £162 million in 2024-25.

To ask the Scottish Government what the recorded causes of road traffic incidents at the Toll of Birness have been since January 2024. The Scottish Government has reviewed the personal injury accident information provided by Police Scotland and can confirm that there has been one personal injury accident at the Toll of Birness junction between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024, the date for which data is currently available.
The CYPCS spent £45,000 on IT and website design in 2024 and £35,000 in 2023. Figures provided by SPCB officials estimate that, based on the use of the SCOTS system, web and IT maintenance would cost £20,000 per annum.
