To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4O-02044 by Roseanna Cunningham on 25 April 2013, how many of the convictions were for (a) violent and (b) non-violent offences. A conviction for “offensive behaviour at regulated football matches”, under section 1 of the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012, may be for threatening behaviour as well as hateful or other offensive behaviour which may incite public disorder.
