Has the agricultural holdings legislation review group decided whether there is a need for tenant farmers to register an interest to buy their tenancies? If there is a pre-emptive right under the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 2003, we can surely abolish the need to register, as it is an unwarranted exacerbation of tenant-landlord relations.
