The Committee welcomes this work and would be interested in a progress report from the Scottish Government at the end of the summer recess when all these pieces of work will be complete.

Overview
Under this Bill, certain types of commercial lease would continue automatically after the date they would otherwise have ended (the “termination date”).
Allow for the release date of a prisoner to be brought forward by up to two working days where this would be better for the prisoner's reintegration into the community.
