To ask the Scottish Executive whether the report of the short-life working group to develop information on women with no recourse to public funds who have experienced domestic abuse will be included in the code of guidance on homelessness. I refer the member to the answer to question S3W-11204 on 15 April 2008.
I also commend the Government’s support for CodeClan, which aspires to be a world-class coding academy that creates a new generation of software developers and plays a leading role in accelerating Scotland’s progress in building a high-performance digital economy.
Those concerns are referred to as the SHANARRI indicators in the 2014 act, and guidance on how authorities should consider them will be included in a statutory code of practice that is to be published by ministers.
A commitment was given that an adjudicator would be introduced to look at the “Groceries Supply Code of Practice” and to ensure a fair deal for producers, but the UK Government has not yet honoured that commitment.
Over 35 per cent of patients with learning disability were not discharged in an adequate time. Indeed, if you examine code 9 discharges—that is, of those waiting for complex care packages in the community—you see that the delays can often be over 12 months.
For example, people should be fed on the basis of need, not on any other criteria, and there should be a code of conduct to ensure that people are treated decently.
