The aims include improving the provision of co-ordinated health and social care and support, developing sustainable workforce models and ensuring high standards of person-centred care for those with neurological conditions, such as MS.
In 2020 we awarded a contract to Includem to establish a Scottish childhood bereavement co-ordinator who will ensure effective provision of bereavement support and care for children and young people.
Those now take place in an NHS healthcare setting known as a SARCS—a sexual assault response co-ordination service. Healthcare Improvement Scotland has published national standards and quality indicators.
