The Committee published its report on the Bill on 4 March 2019 and received a response from the Cabinet Secretary for the Rural Economy on 21 March 2019.
The Scottish Government aims to spend over £3 billion to deliver at least 50,000 affordable homes from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2021.
Achieving the 50,000 target requires an average of 10,000 completions each year, well above the numbers completed in the last few years.
