However, it ill befits anybody to say that it is a problem of the young, when the Christmas bash of every political party in the Parliament will involve copious consumption of red wine and other alcohol, and when every board of directors' reception in this country, from the Royal Bank of Scotland on, will involve the consumption of alcohol. We cannot simply pin it all on the younger generation, because it is not their fault.
