Supported by: Jenny Gilruth* *S5M-13509 Ruth Maguire: Congratulating Castlepark Primary School on its Win a Playground Victory That the Parliament congratulates the eco-committee of Castlepark Primary — School in Irvine on winning the TerraCycle 2018 Win a Playground competition, organised by TerraCycle in partnership with Febreze, Fairy and Tesco; understands that, after receiving the most online votes, the school beat four other primary schools in Scotland, and 32 across the UK, to win a sustainable outdoor play area partially made from kerbside recycled plastics; notes that the school secured its place in the competition final by signing up to become one of TerraCycle s ’ local collection points, gathering materials that would have been destined for landfill such as plastic bottles, food pouches and used pens, and wishes all at Castlepark Primary School a lot of fun with their new play area, and the very best for the future.
