Given the chronic leadership vacuum that exists over Brexit at Westminster and the serious damage that is being forced on our country, what is the Scottish Government’s view on whether a way forward can be found that can command a majority in the House of Commons?

The Treasury’s report says: “the EU would introduce tariffs of around 70% on beef and 45% on lamb exports, and 10% on ... automotive vehicles”. An area that has not been touched on, but which is huge for Scotland because of its contribution to the economy and employment is, the financial sector.
You said something really interesting when you mentioned the age of vehicles. Research in the German automotive industry shows that, with the emissions that are created by building car batteries, it takes 10 years to recoup the fuel savings that will be made by converting engines.
